The Institute of Corrosion (ICorr) is a Learned Society and Registered Charity that has been serving the corrosion science, technology and engineering community since 1959. Whilst providing a forum for the corrosion industry to discuss the latest advances and best practice they also offer advice to the Government on corrosion related issues for projects such as the Thames Barrier.

ICorr originally approached Square One in 2002 to give their by monthly Journal a facelift. In addition to re designing and formatting the journal we also put forward a number of proposals for the journal to generate advertising revenue to enable them to cover the production costs. Theses proposals were taken on board and we now handle every aspect of the production of the Journal from collating and editing the editorial, generating ad revenue and distributing the journal to their 1400 subscribers across the world.

Subsequently we were commissioned by the institute to develop and manage a new website. The site went live in January 2009 and includes a web forum, updateable news section and all ICorrs membership information. We also adopted some of the revenue generating ideas from the magazine, this additional revenue is projected to cover the development costs within 3 years.

As testimony to the excellent relationship we have developed with ICorr we were asked to be heavily involved in their recent 50th Anniversary celebrations. We produced a new logo, commemorative programme, invites and certificates for the event.
